New Home Sales Consultant

We are looking for a New Home Sales Consultant for Waxahachie, Midlothian, Cleburne, Burleson, Joshua, Fort Worth and Keller, Texas.

We are seeking an ambitious, friendly and professional new home sales consultant to sell and close new homes in one of our many communities. As a New Home Sales Consultant, you will have a real opportunity to develop your entrepreneurial skills and spirit with the support of an innovative team while you help customers make the biggest decision of their lives. You will consistently drive new sales from a variety of sources such as client referrals, real estate and other professional networks and leads generated by our marketing campaigns. You will maintain continuous communication and contact with prospects to pull sales through the long cycle and proactively follow-up with clients after sales to ensure that they are satisfied. The new home sales consultant will report directly to the Sales Manager and interact with other management and construction teams in a team environment.

  • Generating referrals and leads through face-to-face marketing at community and school events, realtor functions and other opportunities to mingle with potential customers in the community
  • Connecting with realtors through hosting events or lunches at their offices
  • Following up with potential customers about home buyer incentive programs
  • Demonstrating a strong effort to make use of new sales techniques and strategies
  • Processing sales agreements and contracts on a computer
  • Using our CRM to manage your sales pipeline
  • Managing change orders for customers & insuring that change orders are executed
  • Continually improving and adding to your product knowledge and home sales/homebuilding industry knowledge
  • Staying aware of competitors in the market, specifically their square footage and incentives offered
  • Must be committed to maintaining a high level of ethics and integrity in all dealings

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
  • Minimum 2 years; recent experience in new home sales or commission-based sales
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and valid auto insurance coverage
  • Work Weekends
  • Ability to prepare written documentation and complete contract calculations
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with basic programs
  • Working knowledge of new technology and social media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Background check and drug test performed

As a New Home Sales Consultant, you must possess a strong ability to listen to buyers and their needs, a confident and enthusiastic personality and an eagerness to hone your entrepreneurial skills. In our custom/production environment, you must possess strong organization skills as well. You must have exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as creativity and innovation in attracting customers to visit your community. You must be an excellent self-manager who is energetic, competitive and decisive, with a genuine desire to work effectively with home shoppers. You must also be able to work in a demanding, fast-paced and team–oriented setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,258.70 – $230,000.00 per year
